The Brainy Leadership Team (TBLT) is a non-profit organization set up to redefine leadership and to develop leaders who are well-built in character across all sectors. TBLT develops and equips leaders from diverse backgrounds with diverse beliefs. However, the principles of the organization stem from the Bible and do not intend to violate that of others.
Our vision is to build a community of leaders who are who are well-built in character and morally grounded, leading with integrity across all sectors of life.

We hold the belief that God has created every individual as a leader and has given them the needed potentials to lead a successful and fulfilling life for the betterment of humanity, and these potentials has to be developed. Why We Exist
The Problem
Despite the fact that a few leaders and organizations are leading right, leadership problems stare at our continents every single minute across all sectors.
Africa really does not lack leaders – Africa lacks leaders with the right moral force. This problem of leadership is what has prevented developments in leaders and our continent at large.
As John C. Maxwell puts it, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.”
However, we believe that if leaders will submit themselves to development and build the right moral force, Africa will rise.

This is why The Brainy Leadership Team exists.
We exist to address 4 key leadership challenges in Ghana and Africa at large:
We are adding our voices and strength to the few organizations developing leaders and making positive impact for the growth of our continent and for the betterment of humanity.
We provide the right environment for leadership development and equip leaders to stand for and do what is right at all times.
Our influence is not only limited to Africa, as these challenges are seen in most countries.
How We Lead

Recruit
Every year we invite individuals to join our leadership development programs. We recruit individuals in any form leadership position or role between 18 years and 40 years and anyone who aspires to make positive change in their personal lives and their sectors/spheres of influence. Applicants go through a rigorous recruitment process including an interview session before they can be selected to be part of our cohorts of leaders.

Train
Successful applicants who are selected begin their journey with The Brainy Leadership Team by going through an immense leadership development program focused on aligning leaders to embrace their unique personalities and God-given abilities, understand the concept of leadership and reorient their mindset for positive change.

Mentor
Simultaneously, leaders would be engaged in effective sector specific mentorship program. This program is the one-on-one session which involves guiding the leader as they work through their vision/project, providing a listening ear while they share their learnings and challenges, intentionally creating an avenue to reiterate the principles of leadership and the values that define our shared-culture and encouraging and motivating the leader to persevere as they face setbacks or roadblocks to their vision using mentors’ personal examples, stories and anecdotes.

Equip
Leaders are engaged in activities that improve their leadership abilities and build them with the right mindset and skillset to lead. This includes reading challenges, skill sharing and other learnings.

Deploy
Leaders who successfully go through the programs are sent out to live out what they have imbibed through the program and effect positive change through their various projects and sectors. Leaders also have the option of joining some departments or wings in the team to contribute to our leadership development journey.
What We Do

Leadership Development Program
Focuses on aligning leaders to embrace their unique personalities and God-given abilities, understand the concept of leadership and reorient their mindset for positive change. It exposes leaders to the right moral force for leadership and set them on course with practical ways to fulfil their purposes and visions.

Sector Specific Mentorship Program
The focus of our sector mentorship program is to provide a space for personalized attention, guidance and encouragement to our leaders as they build their visions and pursue their aspirations. Our 1:1 mentorship helps us to steward the talent, passions, visions and aspirations of our leaders.

Leadership, Coaching and Public Speaking Certification Program
Focuses on equipping leaders with communication skills, content creation, value building and how to inspire and build people to take actions.

Influence
Expansion Project
Allows leaders to join different departments and wings in the team to practically exhibit their leadership as a way of building experience to support work of creating positive change across all sectors.

Community
Based Projects
As a way of contributing to the betterment of our communities, the team embarks on projects to provide solutions to the pressing needs of various communities. We aspire to address challenges such as lack of school buildings, no access to good water source, poor road network, no access to education, leadership development, health challenges amongst others.

Hands-on
Training
The Brainy Leadership Team’s Hands-on Training is a dynamic 6-week program designed to empower participants with practical skills in Technology, AI, Media, Data Analysis, and Entrepreneurship. Through engaging online sessions, hands-on activities, and assessments, participants explore topics such as AI applications, digital tools, media content creation, data analysis techniques, and entrepreneurial strategies. The program fosters innovation, creativity, and leadership, culminating in an in-person session and certification upon successful completion. It equips individuals with the tools needed to excel in the modern, interconnected world.
The Executive Council
The Team consists of amazing individuals from various backgrounds, leveraging their diverse experiences and coming together with a shared objective: developing leaders who aspire to make significant, positive change in their lives and spheres of influence.

Volunteers
Individuals who have dedicated their time, energy and resources to support the vision of The Brainy Leadership Team. These individuals may be leaders who have successfully gone through all our leadership development program.
Sector Head/Mentors
Experienced leaders who guide cohort leaders as they work through their vision/project, providing a listening ear while they share their learnings and challenges, intentionally creating an avenue to reiterate the principles of leadership and the values that define our shared-culture.
Directors
A group of individuals whose primary responsibility is regularly reviewing the performance of the organization, making decisions and taking actions to ensure steady growth.
